rocking out in the summer night!

Tonight we took advantage of Fremont's last summer concert--it was country music! We enjoyed a picnic on our blanket, giving Madeline enough time to get used to the crowd and completely rock out! She was running around like a little wild woman, talking to literally everyone she possibly could...we'd never seen her so energized. After socializing, Madeline decided to show off her dance moves, boy does she have some booty shaking moves--we saw some very interesting new dances tonight! Nato just shook his head, frowning, and imagining the future ahead. Meanwhile, now that Amelie has her hearing aids, she was able to rock out as well. Even though she couldn't tell us, I could see her enjoyment in her beautiful brown eyes. It was one of the best evenings we've had as a family all summer long.
