Do you want to know what is happening in the Muratalla home? Well, we're doing the wild rumpus of course! Actually, our day was pretty interesting...Renato went crazy with extra curricular painting on our walls and other random home fixer uppers, Madeline went crazy with brownies and 2 types of chocolate cake, and we all went nuts when Amelie really laughed for the FIRST TIME!
We've actually had a really interesting summer as we've had all sorts of visitors, (yay!), some short trips, (think Napa--with 2 kids, Gilroy Gardens, S.F., Santa Cruz, Coalinga...), lots and lots of doctor's visits for Amelie's little ears, and really wierd sleep schedules.
Life with 2 children fills us with a lot of love and a whole lot of coo-coo. Madeline enjoys being an older sister for the most part and is even occasionally helpful! She's all moved into her "jungle room" and enjoys the flexability of having 2 rooms to conquer, (Amelie is still in our room). Madeline's latest feat is telling Daddy, "Mommy said ____________." The blank can be filled in with a fib constructed in order for Madeline to convince Renato of one thing or another...She's also quite taken with role playing with various characters ALL DAY LONG!
Amelie is such a doll and has discovered the value of super high pitched squeals and beautiful smiles. The trick of the hour, (besides laughing!!!!), is grabbing her dress and stuffing it in her mouth. Her favorites include bright yellow toys, Madeline's talking parrot, watching leaves flutter in the wind, and milk. We're still waiting for her fancy new hearing aids, apparently they're on backorder.)
I promise to post pictures as soon as humanly possible, (for me.)
have a happy day!
